Start Here: Welcome

Welcome! I created this mini-course because over the last several months, more and more of my website design clients have been asking me about how to start using email marketing effectively. They saw the huge benefits of having a professional website to share their story but are also sensing they need to enhance how they are reaching their people everyday. And they are right!

Email has been around since the early to mid-90s and although we’ve come a long way since that “you’ve got mail” time period, email remains one of the primary ways we communicate every single day.

Did you know?

  • 99% of us check email everyday

  • Emails reach most of the people they’re intended for (unlike many other tools we have available to use)

  • ROI of email marketing is 28.5% better than direct mail

But, it’s not all great news! 53% of consumers say they get too many irrelevant emails from brands. And, our email platforms make it easy to get rid of emails fast (swipe to delete, unsubscribe, report as spam, etc.)

This mini-course is short but it’s packed full of great content that should be useful to anyone who wants to use email to increase their outreach and impact! We’re going to cover the following five broad topics:
