Getting your small business to stand out can be difficult at first, but showing what your business offers can help customers get to know you and your company. The art of marketing your business can allow your business to come to life while making your customers feel as if they are part of your journey. There are three basic marketing methods that you can try to keep your customers updated with deals, new product launches, or services you offer. When you can successfully tell the story of how your business is growing to meet your audience just where they need you will lead you to trustworthy customers who love what you have to offer as much as you do.

Text Marketing

People often forget about mlm text marketing, but it can have many benefits. Texting sends your message instantly and often has positive results with the receiver reading the text at that instant due to texts being easy to open. You can send them straight from your computer, create a content marketing calendar and then schedule them for the times you want; (typically when your target market is free such as evenings or lunchtime works best). To see how your texts are working and monitor results like who opened them, who clicked through to action, etc. your text provider will usually provide reporting and metrics to help you gauge your progress.

Social Media Marketing

With the online world getting more and more traffic in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic and millions of people working from home, social media marketing is almost a must these days. However, it can be more difficult to reach your intended audience and stand out from the crowd. A few tips to help your message avoid getting lost in the noise include:

  • Uploading eye-catching images that are bright and clear can instantly grab people's attention.

  • Try to avoid filters but brightening and increasing the contrast is great to boost professionalism.

  • Adding a location tag and relevant hashtags so people can find you can be useful.

  • Sharing your posts on multiple platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook will ensure that you reach the widest number of people.

Email Marketing

Sending emails to your customers gives them critical information right in their inbox, making it even easier to take action on your latest service, product, or training opportunity. This is an excellent place for you to add a call to action by giving away freebies to entice your customers to visit your website and purchase. You will notice that your success rate will be higher using exciting freebies that allow your customers to buy more of something, whether that be a service or a product. The best way to present an email is to keep it simple, using solid background color and keeping space between the text by avoiding large paragraphs — people often do not like to read long emails. Include large, clear photos to keep your email exciting, and visuals make it easier to sell products, but watch load times by optimizing those photos first!

Hopefully, with this guide, you will be able to use various marketing methods to transform your business and try a new marketing approach. When you use multiple methods to communicate with your customers (and future customers) like texting, social media, and emails, you’ll grab your target market's attention in the best way. Remember, sometimes seeing an advertisement several times through different media types makes the products stick in your mind for future reference so be sure to over-communicate and vary those channels whenever you can!
